Arliss served as the baptist campus minister at Arkansas State University for 32 years. Following that, he served for two years as the university minister at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro. He was a part-time college ministry consultant for Lifeway for 13 years. Arliss is a college ministry blogger and is the author of numerous books and articles on college ministry.
