Dr. Fred Luter is a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He was elected in 2012 as the first African American president of SBC. Fred began his ministry as a street preacher in New Orleans where he was born. Luter has served as lead pastor of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church since 1986 seeing the church grow from 65 members to over 5000. Dr. Luter is the middle child of five siblings. He graduated with his doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is widely regarded as one of the most respected preachers and evangelical leaders in the nation.
Michael Catt served as the Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, for 31 years until his retirement in April 2021. He is the author of several books including Upgrade, Courageous Living, and Fireproof Your Life (a CLC Publication best-seller), as well as The Power… books in the ReFRESH® book series with B&H Publishing, among others.
Michael is the founder of the ReFRESH® Conference, a time of seeking the Lord for spiritual awakening and revival, which has been hosted coast-to-coast across America. He served as an Executive Producer for the films produced by Sherwood Pictures, as well as the film Woodlawn with the Erwin Brothers. He and his wife Terri have two grown daughters, Erin and Hayley.
